Founded by Omar Arvizo, a visionary builder featured in Voyage Houston Magazine, our company stands on craftsmanship, responsibility, and the belief that every project should outlast generations.

From custom homes to commercial developments, Omar leads with a servant–leader heart. His purpose has always been simple:

We didn’t build this company overnight. We built it the same way we build custom homes—carefully, intentionally, and with a deep commitment to quality and honesty. Our work is rooted in faith, fueled by passion, and guided by the belief that every project we complete becomes part of someone’s legacy. That responsibility is why we show up every day with purpose.

Alongside his wife and business partner Mayra Arvizo, Arvizo Construction has become one of Houston’s trusted names in high-quality construction, known for transparency, integrity, and the personal touch that big builders can’t offer.

Omar Arvizo

Omar’s journey began with a simple purpose:
to give families the security and pride of a beautifully built home, and to help business owners create spaces that elevate their success.
Every foundation poured, beam set, and finish installed is part of a bigger mission—to build hope, stability, and opportunity in the Houston community.

Mayra Arvizo

Mayra is the Administrative Coordinator at Arvizo Construction LLC and plays a key role in keeping projects running smoothly from start to finish. She handles invoicing, billing, scheduling, and project documentation with care and attention to detail. Working closely with city departments, Mayra helps secure permits, coordinate inspections, and ensure every project stays compliant. She also manages material orders and has built strong, long-standing relationships with suppliers. Known for her clear communication and dependable support, Mayra is often the go-to point of contact for both clients and partners.

Whether Omar is on the jobsite wearing his hard hat, reviewing blueprints, or meeting clients in the office with Mayra, one thing stays constant—Every project is treated as if it were for his own family.

Outside of construction, Omar stays grounded through fitness and daily workouts, pursuing personal growth, and continually helping others improve their lives. His leadership reflects a blend of strength, humility, and wisdom — qualities that set Arvizo Construction apart in the Houston building industry.
